I believe people are tired of hearing promises made by all these politicians who obviously have never had to experience real life situations in the real world.The world I speak of is that of poverty.Imagine this- take a normal well-to-do politician,put them in a job category such as working for MC Donald's for minimum wage and have no access to their real money that they are accustomed to and see what happens.Let them try to pay just their basic needs without the help of government agencies such as food stamps or assisted living.Then let them experience being injured Ont job site and having your claim denied from workers compensation.Now where do you go mister politician who votes for all these laws to protect the rights of all these multi-billion dollar companies and screw over the common middle class and lower class working people who have to endure these common life problems on a daily basis.Tell me mister politician can you afford gasoline for a five hundred dollar car that it took you two years of saving just to buy?Can you afford insurance for that same piece of crap car that might get you to work or maybe not?Let's see,huh,who do I vote for?Which candidate can I trust to tell me the least amount of lies?Which candidate can I trust to even fulfill at least two of their promises they make to the American citizens?I wish for once there would be a candidate that truly cares about what is happening to our country and actually try to fix the problems.Maybe we need a common citizen to run for president?Maybe it needs to be someone who has lived the life of poverty.Someone who has never had the luxery of knowing how it feels to go to bed at night not worrying if their electricity is going to be cut off the next day or not.So ask me again why people don't want to vote?What about all the hungry children in our own country?Do they not have the right to three meals a day like you mister politician? Do they not have the right to health care plans like you?Of coarse health care plans is a whole new story that I will not even mention at this time.My question to you mister politician-What has happened to even the slightest amount of human dignity for the American citizens and the true concern of "OUR" well being?How much money was donated to your campaign? Come on now does it really cost that much to run a campaign of all these false promises that are made?Or did some of the funds you received just line you own pockets?Or perhaps buy you into the corrupt corporateworld that we all are forced to live in because of greed?There are many hungry people in this world today but the people who have plenty just push them all away.Is there not any compassion,but only greed?Is there not enough food for every one's plate?Obviously mister politician your values on human dignity and god given rights are blinded by the indecency for the love of money. So I ask you now mister politician why do people not want to vote anymore?
