Memoirs: Love

by Wade K

Silence surrounds me. Not another sound exists, but that of your warm breath caressing my neck.

The pulsating rhythm of your heart pounding against my own, the electrical current racing through our very senses with every stroke, in every touch of our exploration of each other.

Your lips so swollen , pouty and moist as they finally meet mine...and they become as one.

Time no longer has meaning, I am lost so completely, entirely, in you. Suddenly you gasp, almost as if you had forgotten to breathe, our eyes connect but for a moment...yet I see an eternity.

I pull you much closer as if you were my very skin- so natural, so right, a perfect fit...the missing piece of my uncompleted puzzle.

You pull away teasingly as the firelight outlines your perfect silhouette, and nibble on my bottom lip playfully, almost daring me to come after what it is that I have wanted for oh, so very long.

You clench my hands within your own and I feel you tremble as you guide me on a journey neither of us can turn back from now. There are flashes of light exploding all around us in the darkness, trying to distract and interrupt us, yet all we see, all that we feel...is only each other.

A rush suddenly runs straight through me and all sounds become silent, except for those coming from the motions of our unification.I feel time rushing by us as our bodies rise and fall from the storm raging within us. Everything seems to be in fast motion as my back arches readying for the flood I am about to unleash on you...but you will hear nothing of it, no, not just yet.

Just at that very moment, you leave me hanging, unable to succeed. My mission incomplete. Testing me, daring me, challenging my stamina and ability to reach that peak of satisfaction...just one more time. Only this time, you want to join me...for us to reach the summit of our passions simultaneously, in perfect unison.

The dark clouds open and rain is spilling over us, warm and sensual, massaging every inch of our very being. Exposing all of our inhibitions, all of our secrets, any of our fears.

Your muscles seem to tighten as you throw your head back and gaze towards the stars, your body rocking back and forth to the beat of a song that only we seem to share.

Once again I have reached that plateau, before the point of no return. My heart pounding so hard, so fast...our bodies glistening and glowing with an aura so bright, so blinding.

The darkness envelops us and pulls us in, closer than even we could have imagined. No sights, nor sounds, only a sense of euphoria washes over us. Pulling us under, then pushing us forward, over and over until we collapse...laying motionless, except for the heaving and contracting of my chest as I try to recover and gain my bearings from the intensity of the moment.

Your hand gently explores my face, my neck, my chest and you pause there to run your fingers in circular motions. I cradled your face in my hands, lean in to kiss your full and ripened lips, stopping only to revel in your eyes. A tear hangs there delicately in the corner, waiting to escape. I wipe it away with my own lips and savor the taste...storing it's memory...knowing that this is a tear of total and utter joy. A joy that only we could have created, together.

If only this moment could be frozen, this feeling could be bottled, my heart could always hold so much love. If forever always meant that there would always be a me and a you, an us...
