Would you send your children to a school that doesn't teach them, properly? Would you want your tax dollars to go toward a Principal's dinner? Would you want to be judged by one yearly test, instead of being judged by the actions you showed, all year long? If your son or daughter had a deficit in an area, would you allow them to be condemned for it, publicly? If your company was being judged for its performance, via a survey, how would you like it if your boss stood over your shoulder, during the time you were filling it out?
If you're sending your child to a public school, you're already forcing your child to deal with these situations, and more.
Have you ever sat inside your child's classroom, for more than a day? If you did, you would clearly see that the educational system isn't even close to what the Board of Education, or your Government, claims. In fact, the board of education doesn't even know what goes on, inside your child's classroom.
Who Am I and How Do I Know?
Well...let's put it this way...for over four years, I sat inside numerous classrooms, for many hours a day - volunteering my time to my childrens' schools. Thanks to the lessons I learned in these so-called educational institutes, I eventually decided to home school my kids.
Now, it's easy for our President to point the finger at the teachers, but according to the things I saw, in multiple schools, it's not the teachers that are the problem. It's the system itself!
Let me give you an idea of what I actually saw, and in what period of time. I was in my children's schools for a period of approximately 8 hours a day, 5 - 6 days a week, if not more. I became the President of the PTA, and I worked very closely with the principals and teachers of each school.
A typical day included working with beaten-down copiers, lack of educational materials, and a serious lack of teachers. Every day, when I would walk into the schools, I was subjected to a wide collection of things that the teachers needed done - just to keep them on schedule. They were so beaten down by the system that many ended up in tears, as they made a feeble attempt to keep up. Try as they might, there was just no way for them to do so.
I really felt bad for these poor souls. Their jobs were the hardest, and if they barked or balked, their cries fell on deaf ears. Sometimes, threats of impending doom (so to speak,) were slung by the administrators, or the board of Education, at those who did take a stand.
