First of all the cell phone industry is the largest, fastest growing industry there is. Think about it for a second. 40% of Americans can't afford homes, but every one has a cell phone. People can't afford a car, but everyone has a cell phone. People can't afford a laptop, don't have a job and are defaulting on there credit cards, but everyone has a cell phone!

Simple cell phones have limitless capabilities. It's a wonder how we lived without them. But the iPhone is leading the smartphone/cellphone revolution. There is only one reason everyone does not have the iPhone. It is simply too expensive at this point. But as we all know Apple will lower the price when demand curtails. Until finally the apple Iphone won't just lead the smart phone industry, it will lead the cellphone industry. Because as we all know once we get used to the idea of instant communication and instant portable information we will not go backwards. And as far as the iPhone is concerned there is a long way to go in both of these two areas.

Let's take communication for instance. The pattern has proceeded as follows: voice communication, Text communications including E-mail, Picture communications, and finally video communications. But the future of the smart phone will send more advanced communications such as programs, files, and advanced sofware applications.

Secondly we have the mobile Internet-the iPhone has already taken a huge technological leap by introducing the highly advanced touch screen. In effect, user-friendly touch codes. Depending on the number of fingers used and directional movements applied the iPhone introduces a new form of tactile communication.

There are some obvious things the iPhone will adapt in future generations. First, a video communication capability. The only reason the iPhone has not tackled this problem is limited bandwidth. Which leads me to my next point-faster Internet connection with a more advanced browser. Faster processer to run all kinds of advanced applications making the iPhone as fast and smart as a lap top.

If you look at the smart phone market you realize all other phones are eons away from iPhones genius. It is just a matter of time before Apple will revolutionize the industry. In fact it already has.
