It was after my really bad accident I had. It was a very windy morning not to mention the clouds were as dark as night. The rain was barely drizzling, and sprinkling down the driveway. Therefore, I began to drive onto the freeway. My three year old was sitting in
her car seat. The rain started to come down a little faster; I could even smell the wet pavement. At this time, I knew that the ride was going to be a very slippery and dangerous. I was already headed onto the Pomona freeway going toward Los Angeles. I could see that the cars in front of me were at a distance and the rain began to fall out of the dark sky very hard. The sound of the rain against my windshield was very hard, almost like small rocks. That is when I decided to open my window to stick my hand out to feel the rain and yes, it felt like small rocks too the smell was like a wet mildew almost. I let my foot off the gas and finally my car stopped spinning but the tail of my car slid toward the right middle divider on the fast line. It hit once and again. Then it came to a complete halt. I know I had to do something I was facing traffic, I could looking at all the cars driving at a very slow speed just to look but know one stopped. I had no cell phone. That's when a very nice man came to ask if we were alright. I told him I think so. He said he called the police and asked if I needed some help. I said please.
Traffic at this time was very slow. He parked behind my car got out of his and got Rita my three year old out of her car seat and put her in front with me. I looked at her and she was fine. I thanked the man that helped. To let him no it was okay for him to leave as long as I knew he had called for help. Five minutes seemed like
