Colors are a vital part of our personalities and possibly our souls. The different hues and shades of color play into our daily lives. They affect our moods, personalities and can tell complete strangers a ton about us. Throughout my life I've had three favorite colors. They have been present in every stage I've gone through and will remain probably for the rest of my life. These colors represent who I am and even some of my morals and personal values.
I love Crimson. Crimson is a hue of red although it has a vibrancy all it's own. No other shade of red is quite as gripping for me. Crimson has traditionally symbolized wealth and prosperity, a person of importance. In today's world Crimson is the color of rebirth, change and passion. It's a take action' and stand above kind of color. That reflects my person attitude of taking fate into my own hands and doing what I've got to do in order to make it to tomorrow.
Black isn't technically a color, however, I love it anyway. It's role in human society has changed many times and in Western society it is the color of mourning or rebellion' in the younger crowd. Black is a neutral color. It is neither good nor bad and is essentially the absence of color. That neutrality is something I pride myself in. I've spent my entire life seeking out all parts of the equation instead of allowing someone else to influence me with their opinions.
The third of my colors is Silver. Although Silver can mean riches or wealth it is a playful, glinting color. It's a color of truth and honesty, often being used to describe the wisest of people or the strongest. My search for the big-picture and my steadfast adherence to my honor are both reflected by this color.
Combined these colors represent my inner-self and tell those who are knowledgeable of such things that I am an honest person, constantly changing yet uninvolved in the drama of life. I live for myself, taking charge of my own destiny with unbridled passion. All three are attention grabbers that bring focus onto my being and people tend to listen when I speak, even if it's just for a moment. These three colors have shaped my life and they also explain quite a bit about who I am and what I stand for.
