Your wedding day is a magical day. You're filled with excitement, love and maybe a few tears of joy. You and your soul mate are pledging to spend the rest of your lives together in front of family, friends, pets, knights, beach bums, intergalactic beings, and Elvis. No, you're not loosing your mind and I'm not giving cute nick names to your relatives. I'm talking about what you could experience when you get married in Las Vegas. So get ready to make some notes about the great places to say "I do" in Sin City.
If you're looking for a great time and haven't decided to go the more traditional route or pick a theme, one of the best places in Vegas is the Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel, located on Las Vegas Blvd South. This place has it all. My husband and I were married here and had a blast! Show up in your formal gown and tux for a fabulous wedding or t-shirt and shorts for a beach themed event. No matter what you want they've got it (including the Pink Cadillac). If you're getting married and want your family and friends back home to be a part of your special day, they tape the ceremony and show it live via a special website just for you!
If you're looking for the five-star treatment, check out the wedding chapel at the Bellagio. As soon as you walk into the lobby, you, your finance, and your guests will be blown away by the beautiful glass flowered ceiling, rich flower garden and lavish decorations. There are two chapels within the hotel and an outdoor terrace to choose from. You can even have a grand finale with the famous fountains. After your nuptials are finalized, you and your significant other can venture upstairs to your "honeymoon suite" that is luxurious and might even include a view of the fountains.
If you're just not sure where to tie the knot once you get to Vegas, grab a guide and make a huge event out of your time there. Instead of getting married on just one day, why not get married every day your in town? Start off with a drive-thru wedding, then pick up a fun costume and have a king pronounce you lord and lady. Follow those with beach themed wedding where you can stroll into a chapel, say "I Do" and then stroll right back out to hit the slots or jump in a car to take a trip to the Grand Caynon.
These are just some of the amazing places and ideas for you to tie the knot in Vegas. Remember to check the packages and specials that are offered by each chapel. Sometimes, if the themes look the same one chapel may toss in a few fun freebies over the other chapel. From traditional to funky, from drive-thru to bridge of a starship Vegas offers many options to make your wedding dreams come true.
