I truly feel that if you live your life, so that other people can see Jesus in you, this is the first step in loving them to Christ. Sometimes the way we live shows more about our faith, than the way we talk.
Being a Christian is living as Jesus did. He attracted people everywhere He went. They wanted to hear what He had to say. They looked at the example of the way He lived and loved. They saw all of the good He did for people. He didn't shove or push anything on anybody. He didn't try to force anything on them. He proved Himself over and over.
Sharing your faith and hope in this dying world, will be the only way some will ever come to Christ. And as Christians, we don't want to see anybody lost. But we can't save the one's who choose not to accept Christ.
The love of God is greater far than anything you have ever known. If you actually knew all He has done for each and every one of you, saint's and sinner's alike, you would look at God in a far different way.
There are persistent people out there, who can actually turn people off to the whole idea of Christ. It doesn't mean that they have done wrong, maybe just pushed a little too hard for a new starter. Christian love is just wanting to share the love of Christ to all who don't know Him.
There are people in this world, that have been so hurt by life, it's hard for them to see any way that life could ever be better. That's all they have ever known. We all know what the world is like now. There is far more sin out there, than love.
People have to learn to love, and to feel love before anyone can get through to them. All they feel is hate, and rebellion when you want them to believe in something they know nothing about. They ask, "Where is this God of yours when all H___ is breaking loose around me." They can't see any good, when their world is so full of hate, and doubt.
Jesus remained a humble man in His journeys, and people saw the love of God in Him. Even when He knew all along what was in store for Him, He still loved them, no matter what. But after Jesus went to be with the Lord, He could be seen no longer. Sometimes people only believe in what they can see.
It makes it even harder to someone who has hardened his heart because of pain in his life. How do you make someone believe that there is a God out there, who loves them more than they could ever imagine?
In all of their grief and sorrows, their trials and tribulations, they aren't going to believe in anything but drugs and alcohol. Sexual immorality, etc.
