debate among the psychological community as studies vary greatly in consistency and are often commissioned by Pro-Life parties. In addition to PAS, the Pro-Life community is also touting the findings of Dr. Phillip Ney, Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Christ Church, New Zealand. Dr. Ney has published a report claiming that abortion is a form of child abuse in that viewing the pregnancy as "disposable" all children are "disposable" and therefore women who abort are prone to physically abuse other children.
