Poetry: Power

Power

Power of every nature and form
Can be used to charm or overwhelm,
To establish a forceful realm,
To fulfill buried inner longings
Driven by revenge and desire
To command and dominate
Another fellow mortal's fate
And create a physical storm.

The energy of the mighty sun
Spreads heat and light to every vessel,
A beacon for all hope to nestle
Under the dominion of rays
Which travel an immense distance
To reach their final goal,
A tribute to the solar role
Burning bright for everyone.

Power can be in the mind
To hold trust and sentiment,
To feel elated or repentant,
To increase friendship and joy,
To keep enemies far away.
Positive force is one power
Which can grow sounder and sounder,
A source of fortitude to find.

The real measure of power
Is the will to change and improve
A certain action, thought or move.
No situation is constant
But fragile like a window.
To make the best of every thought,
To dispel worries with a trot
Lets assertive energy flower.

Power is a long-lasting seal
Of courage, strength and conviction,
Endurance and will in tribulation,
A well of vision and valour
To water all who thirst in aid.
Power is always greatly needed,
Especially power which is real,
Especially power which can heal.

    Power
    Is awesome
    In water

    Enough to
    Drown us all

    Their population
    You could never

    They are just
    Everywhere

    -Control Freak-

    How can you...
    damage me?
    With broken wings,
    I am not free.
    Kicking me down,
    there's pain on your shoes.
    I will

    Omnipotent

And as I clutch at the stars,
    I swallow the moon;
    Consuming the night,
    Until she expires.

So I call for the sun
    And
