I don't believe in love and I'll tell You why,
This story here might make one cry,
All along he blindfolded me with lies,
Told me I was the only thing in his eyes,
Our love was pure, our love was strong,
I never dreamed it could go wrong,
When he was away it made me weak,
But no other love did I ever seek.
One day I take the blindfold from my eyes,
What I see is a sick surprise,
So many questions, So many whys',
I do not ask them; the only strength I have left is the strength to cry,
With my last breath I cut out my heart,
And hand it to him before I depart,
I walk gracefully toward my grave,
For I have nothing, nothing left to save.
With my bleeding heart I left You a note,
You made me laugh, You made me float,
I thought I knew love, I thought You did too,
But I found out otherwise as my blindfold I withdrew.
So now You have the heart You broke,
The heart that believed all the words You spoke,
Do with it as You please,
But I take with me my soul, this soul You will never seize.
