How my heart echoes so loudly in my ears I fear you can hear it.
I can't tell you how the air in the room changes and I find it hard to breathe

I can't write you a love song.
I can't tell you how I savor the taste of your lips after we kiss.
How I slept in your shirt all week while you were away.
I can't tell you how every song on the radio seems to reminds me of you.

I can't write you a love song.
I can't tell you how a look from you can stop me in my tracks.
How the sound of your voice can bring me to my knees.
I can't tell you about the nights spent alone were torture.

I can't write you a love song.
I can't tell you how much you've changed my life.
How marrying you was the best decision I ever made.
I can't tell you how empty my life would be without you.

I can't write you a love song.
I can't thank you enough for our daughter.
How creating her, has made a better me.
I can't thank you enough for being you.

I can't write you a love song.
I can't put into lyrics just how much I love you.
How without you I wouldn't be me.
I can't write you a love song, so this poem will have to do.
