into recognition.
The latest system on the console division would be the Wii. Now I haven't played it personally and would like to see how it has a new way of playing games. It has backwards compatibility with all the Gamecube games but not the Game Boy Player, which does suck. At this moment, it is hard to find the Nintendo Wii since it sells out. There is also the Virtual Console, which has gamers downloading games capturing perhaps a market that's familiar with older games.
The only system that ever was a major failure and regarded as the worst system of all time created by Nintendo would be the Virtual Boy. It was created in 1995 and I remember hearing about this being created and didn't know what to think. The idea of Virtual Reality is cool don't get me wrong. It was a rushed product and I think the technology wasn't quite there yet and maybe still in development. I don't see Nintendo making another Virtual Reality based system.
This is mainly over the consoles and if the Wii continues to be a success, Nintendo will be going into the next generation with perhaps another system. Who really knows what the future holds in the console race, all that matters is that Nintendo has its fan and will continue to do so until it's time to stop. At this moment, I just can't imagine a gaming world without Nintendo involved.
