Though one can not live on praise alone, it sure does help with our perception of our self worth. It does take nothing less than cold hard cash to survive these days. Money talks, unless you often find yourself in situations where you are lacking merit. It is often the case that we receive far too little of both. If you missed out on getting a raise, or a super sweet bonus this year, you might say that money is the key to getting you to work harder or longer.
