Web site reviews: MySpace.com

Myspace has become a very popular web site and has its share of controversy but can be avoided by simple not accepting request. It is a networking system designed to make some friends or even find those that you graduated with. It has been a positive on that front and also to find some family members as well that I haven't seen in ages. For me, it has been a good thing. As for all the problems it has, it's a matter of choice exactly and what you post online. You have to be careful what you post picture wise though as you never know if your boss might see them or your blogs about how you hate your job and then turn around and be fired within the blink of an eye.

There are predators of course but they can be ignored. You do not have to accept everyone on your list. If you do not know this person, then you have to make a conscience decision whether or not to accept them. If you choose to, the site is not responsible for something you do. Myspace is not a baby-sitting service like some people would like to believe. They did not set it up for predators to come out and rape people in general otherwise it would have been shut down by now. The intent was to build a social network and that's about it. Not to be cruel about it but simply just calling it the way I see it. I'm very positive people will disagree with it and that's their opinion and that's all I'm going to state on that front.

It can be addicting if you allow it to be addicting. It would be better than being on drugs in the 1st place. At this way, you're not damaging your physical body in the 1st place. Myspace can be bad of course but you have to weigh the good with the bad. Do I recommend little kids get it? Probably not as they are simply too young and probably wouldn't understand it that well. The age limit should be at least 13 but if you wish to accept someone that is over 18, there should be verification and that can be done on a person's profile so you know who this person is exactly. That to me can help really but that's all the site it can possibly do. There's really nothing Myspace.com can do on that and people who sue it are out to get money.

To end on a positive note, I don't think Myspace is bad to have; it's just a matter of how you use it exactly. If you have a business to promote, then do so and also it can be good for upcoming bands and so forth.
