Why men should not fear balding

Phalacrophobia - what a dread sounding disease! Thankfully, I don't suffer from this affliction, the fear of going bald. As a matter of fact, I have embraced my balding pate. Not only have I accepted the receding hairline that began presenting itself at age 23, I have hastened its retreat by employing a good razor and a little of my own handiwork.

Why should men no longer fear going bald? Quite simple - a bald head is a fashionable head. Never before has that lack of hair been such a sought-after fashion. Even men who have thick, full manes are choosing the look of baldness. No longer do you have to worry about going gray or having dandruff or finding the right style. No more haircuts, no more combing, no more shampooing for that matter. Having a bald head is both a convenience and a stylish look. So embrace your bald head and join millions of other men who know that bald is beautiful!

What if you aren't naturally bald? Well, it's quite easy to create the look for yourself. First, you'll want to buy a nice, sharp razor. A dull one will just result in nicks which will never look good. Next, trim your hair as short as you can with scissors or even electric clippers. Once you're ready for the shave, take a good hot shower to help soften the skin and hair. This makes the job easier and will result in a closer, smoother shave. Towel dry your hair and set to work. If you want you can use shaving cream but this really isn't necessary. As you shave, be sure to rinse the blade well after each swipe. When finished, wash your head off and examine your handiwork. Look closely for areas you might have missed. Use a small hand mirror to view the back in the larger mirror or ask your wife or girlfriend to help check and touch up if necessary. Finally, rub a little lotion on your newly bald top to keep the skin smooth. You'll notice that your scalp is quite a bit lighter in color than the skin on your neck and face. Eventually it'll all even out but if this really bothers you, a little self-tanner will do the trick. Just be sure to apply it evenly and wash your hands when your done.

There, now you have a great looking bald head! See, no need to fear the inevitable. I say, bring it on!
