Spring is a wonderful time to plan a wedding. The weather is nice, there's a crisp scent in the air and everyone is pulling out of their winter doldrums depression.
Your wedding is the perfect opportunity to kick everyone's spirits into high gear and be the savior of sadness from months of rain and frumpy sweaters.

There are many different options and themes to go with for a Spring wedding. If you are more on the edgy side and would rather skip on the Easter egg colors, then read on for eclectic ideas that are sure to make even the Easter Bunny jealous.

Indian
Colors are exotic and bold. Lots of purples, reds, oranges, pinks, indigo's. You can choose a 2 piece sari that is white with gold and your bridesmaids can wear regular short tea length dresses in orange, fuchsia, or purple. Your jewelry should be gold bangles, gold chandelier earrings, and you may also choose to wear the traditional bindi. Groom can wear White linen and brown leather sandals. Moroccan lanterns can be strung from your menu and centerpieces can be made with marigolds or any type of flower in orange, and red.

Asian
Chinese silk dresses are very beautiful and formal looking. It might be difficult to find a white Chinese dress , but it will not be hard to find a beautiful silver and white Chinese dress, with delicate gold, silver, or pink details. Shoes can be silver strappy heels and bridesmaids can wear cherry blossom pink. Asian lanterns or umbrellas can be hung underneath a seal of twinkle lights. Center pieces can include orchids, or get creative have circular vase with lily pads and floating candles an orchids for a serene and zen atmosphere.

Mexican
Did somebody say Fiesta? For wedding attire go for a full on mariachi outfit in white.
The groomsmen and bridesmaids can wear black mariachi outfits. Remember you are the center of attention and should stand out. How awesome would the pictures be? A sea of black mariachis, and standing there in the middle of it all, you in white. Centerpieces can include calla lilies, or red roses. Pinatas can hang in all shapes and sizes from your
venue.

One important thing to ask yourself before you plan your Spring wedding. Do you want to blend in with the other weddings of Spring or do you want to stand out? Do you want to be Robert Palmer or do you want to be a Robert Palmer video girl in the background that blends in with all the other girls? Don't be afraid to do something other than traditional pastel colors. We've all seen those weddings. Baby yellow, baby pink, lavender, baby blue, sage. People love drama , and they love seeing unique weddings.
