Standard Horizon has made great products for many years, including things such as GPS locators, and charplotters. Their products are used mostly for small and large boats, and are very fun and exciting to use. Standard Horizon leads the world in marine communication. Standard Horizon makes products that cover HF to VHF frequencies, which are the most important frequencies in marine communications. Their products are used by many people, including fishers, fishing markets, and other boat owners. Standard Horizon is by far one of the best companies I know when it comes to boat instruments.

Recently, Standard Horizon has released the CPV350 Color Chartplotter, which is an advanced GPS locator device. This cutting edge device not only broadcasts your position, but it broadcasts it in color. But color isn't the only prominent feature about the CPV350, no, this model has much more than that. The CPV350 has the capability to request and send the GPS location of another vessel. For example, let's say that you and your best friend are out one evening in two separate boats, fishing about two miles apart from each other. With the CPV350, you can find exactly where your buddy is located. Another great factor about the CPV350 is that you can plug in up to two extra microphones, and have three functioning VHF stations. This model can also be programmed to scan a combination of channels with or without priority channel. One of the most amazing features is that the CPV350 has the capability of warning you of upcoming weather by advising you to switch to the weather channel.

The Standard Horizon has an optional fish finder for those of you who love to fish like I do. This model uses advanced technology to filter out unwanted noise, causing the images to be more precise and clear.

What does this cost? Well it is actually rather inexpensive considering the advanced technology that it uses. The cost is around $900, which is a fairly good price for all the things it comes with. The kit includes the charplotter itself, the mounting bracket, the power cable, and the user's manual. Over all I love this, and I would definitely consider buying it.

Over all of the reviews that I've read, and all that I've studied on the Standard Horizon CPV350 Color Charplotter, I've realized how great and useful this product is. I did not find one bad review, only good reviews about this product. So you boaters out there, hurry up and grab one, because you'll definitely use it.
