How will Chelsea cope without Jose Mourinho?

other and with the likes of Villa and Man City taking points off the big four regularly this is not over by a long way, the title still up for grabs in May for me. Ronaldo's greed and Rooney's energy have dictated things this season for Sir Alex and the other nine guys have become totally reliant on them for results, Fergie hardly resting either this year in the league so to blood the stand-ins. Arsenal still seem obsessed with the Champions League and their thrashing against United last Saturday was the hint that the injuries are hurting their season, and so their run-in, exactly what happened twelve months ago as they crashed out of all three cups in Feb-March. Again this must suggest Chelsea can overhaul that 8 point gap if they beat them in the head-to-heads.

Team wise it's essentially still Morinhios, Grant working miracles to earn those players respect so quickly and match the 'Special Ones' record. If Jose was the "Special One", then Israeli Grant, by religious rights, must be the 'Chosen One'. These results certainly knock down Jose claims to be the greatest ever. Abromovich`s money aside, Jose did buy well buying this quad and its that world class strength in every position that has allowed Avron to take things on relatively smoothly.

One thing that has puzzled me is why the returning Frank Lampard gets all the stick he does in the media and amongst fans as he has been sensational for Chelsea over the years and with his 100th goal last weekend the handsome midfielder in many ways looks like he will get 200 for them. His criticism seems to be about England and under performance there, rather than club level, but it still has no real basis.. Well if you have to compete with Stevie G for the same ball playing the same kind of game in the same position then you too would lose out. I recall when Rooney was first picked for England around Euro 2004 time; Lampard was sensational in the midfield and scored three goals there. Gerrard, on the other hand, has never impressed for England and perhaps needs to be benched in favor of Lamps by Capello.

Ballack was obviously
