To be born both intelligent and rich is probably what most of us wish, especially when it is time for an advanced level statistics exam or when the angry landlady downstairs gives you her final warning'.
However if I were to choose between the two (intelligence or wealth), I would probably go for intelligence. Of course if you were born into immense wealth you would probably have ten million different people put on this earth just to run around and fulfill your every need, or receive all the up market goodies and latest electronics on your birthday while the less fortunate kids get a handmade birthday card every year with ten dollars carefully folded away in it, so we can enjoy looking at it for a few hours before mum quickly puts it away in savings. But as they say 'money isn't everything' and a single foolish mistake could cost you thousands, and more foolish mistakes after that could leave you bankrupt.
Even if a person was born rich they would most certainly require the knowledge to make sure they can manage they're money correctly and possibly double it using a certain strategies. But to do this you need to be intelligent. Well you could hire someone professional who you believe is more experienced to do the job for you; however you need to be intelligent enough to chose the right person for the job and be intelligent enough to make sure they're making the decisions in favor of you and not themselves.
Therefore I am afraid to say, remaining rich is all about how you play the game, but to be a player in the game and succeed comes only with intelligence. Years of experience could also do the trick, but would probably take many years of boring, stressful and repetitive work. To add to that the information learned would probably be quite specific to what you are doing and can not always be applied to everything. Also why spend time learning or gaining knowledgeable experience when you could just easily be Einstein reincarnated?
So in the end it is most definitely better to be blessed with intelligence rather than wealth, mostly because an intelligent mind has the ability to obtain wealth and the good life it will buy. Lastly intelligence cannot be taken away from you like money can be.
