Unlike some here I have the pleasure for knowing for sure that Duane " Dog " Chapman of the " Dog the bounty hunter show" is not racist. I know this because I know Dog and his family.
Dog is the most kind hearted and loving person you could ever possible meet. Talking to Beth on several occasion( and yes she is just like she is on TV), she has told me how much this has upset Dog.

This was a domestic problem that was between Dog and his son. His son decided to tape and due to the need for cash, sell them to the tabloids. Some things were taken out of text.
When Dog used that unspeakable word he used it in the same text as people of that culture use it.

In my area of the country we refer to people who are sneaky, looking out for themselves, life a bad life style and seem to thing the world owes them a living as " Guilders".

In the city and other areas of the country African American people do refer to a person that meets the standards I have mentioned using that word.
If we are to condemn Dog for saying that word and saying he is racist, which by the way he was because his show was taken off the air, then we must also do the same with comics on other channels. We must do the same to movies that do the very same thing . It should be a informed decision not just one that is pushed on Dog Chapman.
Mr. Chapman did a great service for us when he captured Andrew Luster, and I am not saying he should get away with doing wrong, but if you knew him you'd know he is not capable of being hateful .
Racism is a hate crime where the people who take it on feel threatened by the people they are insulting.Dog Chapman doesn't hate anyone and proves this by the hundreds of people he helps out each year. People who may not even deserve a second or third change. He tries to show them that there is more to life then crime and drugs. He helps them to gain a purpose to do better for themselves and their family. He gives them a sense of love and understanding that they most likely didn't get growing up.
Now I have to ask the people debating this topic. Does that sound like a racist to you?
I think not!
I for one know Dog Chapman is not a racist and I stand behind him 100%
