this will be a guide to your guitar hero needs... the first thing that helps you in your competition against the world is practice and time... so play as much as you can! this helps you a lot. The more you practice the better you become... you should go from easy to medium to hard to expert! once you go from easy to medium you have to use the blue button... so whip out your pinky and do some stretched because now is when you add that button to almost every song you do now!... once you go from medium difficulty to hard... this is where it gets tricky... you must add to your skills; the ability to slide your POINTER finger not your pinky.... learn it this way so you dont have to switch! TRUST ME! sliding your pointer finger is 100x easier then sliding your pinky!.... Then from hard to expert you need to have fast fingers and you must know how to strum (use strummer to go up and down to hit many notes really fast)...

things to remember :
1- slide pointer finger because it's much more effective and faster! so keep your four fings on red-yellow-blue-orange.... and slide your red finger to green!

2-strrum up and down to hit those 32nd notes faster and to get a better beat to the game...

3-play songs you like and it helps if you know the song that way you can save your star power for hard solos that come up and hurt you a lot.

4- conserve your star power for the hardest part

5-practice tons! perfect practice makes perfect so follow these steps!

6-learn the beat of the songs

7-if there's a song you cant beat go into practice mode! dont be shy just do it! they put it there for a reason!

following these simple steps will help you master guitar hero for any console! so just make sure you keep these things in mind and please, dont give yourself a pinky cramp.... they hurt! so take a break every once in a while! so REMEMBER these steps if you want to master this mortal task that was set upon us by a multimillion dollar company :) good luck and dont try through fire and flames on expert it's almost impossible! but the slight chance that you make it... i congradulate you on it then :)
