Spring is on its way and you have to be prepared for the season with the latest trends. This season is turning out to be truly exciting. There are tons of wearable trends to choose from. The themes this spring are bold, sporty, romance, and chic glamor.
One trend that seems to be virtually everywhere is print, and its in your-face-bold. Designers are turning up the volume this season. Prints are bright, floral explosions. Patterns this season don't just include big flower prints, there ethnically influenced prints coming this spring. Look for prints with touches of Africa and Asia in them. Prints can be busy so its best that a shopper should use their discretion when shopping for these pieces. Never leave the store with a print without trying it on first. Prints can look great on the rack but they might not look the same on everyone. Bright prints and patterns are best for people with darker skin. Wearing a bright print with a dark complexion will tend to highlight your skin and face. Fair-skinned people should try dark prints like blues and purples. This will bring out the red tons in their skin. And if your not sure if something will look good on you don't dismiss it. Prints are not all busy bodies, they can really brighten up your day and those around you. Prints are not just flowery in nature. Animal prints are clawing their way back into fashionable acceptance. You may have been seeing them prior to this season but they are here in a big way. Zebra and leopard prints can look classy with the addition of dark wide belt across the waist. Some gold hoops can really compliment an animal print dress. Animal prints and prints in general are not for every body type. When shopping for animal prints, the print's size should be proportional to your body.
Another trend that is bounding down the runway is the sporty or preppy look. Short shorts(bermudas) and regular length shorts are in. Women should steer clear of shorts that have a full knee. Shorts with a full knee tend to make women look frumpy around the hips. The key to having a crisp look is keeping the body lean and long. Pair these shorts with a colorful flat and you'll feel comfy and cute all day. You can also wear bermudas to the office on a spring day by pairing them with a cute matching jacket. Bold horizontal or diagonal striped polos will make you think you just stepped off your private yacht.
Romance is definitely in the Spring air. Designers are really getting back to that girly innocence that spring
