Mass Migration

(Please note: This article has nothing to do with Racism or Victimization, it is intended as a factual representation of what is happening within the European Union as I write.)

It has long been perceived by Government Leaders that migration of workers and their families from poorer Nations is the way forward for the already developed and affluent Nations of the Western World to flourish and the economy to grow accordingly. However this is not necessarily the case as we can observe the current statistics of the United Kingdom, and the influx of Eastern European migrants who arrive by the thousands every week to a country that you could place inside most states of America. The story started back in the late sixties when the then Conservative Government led by the Rt.Hon.Edward Heath MP decided to have a vote (referendum) put to the nation about joining what was originally called the Common Market instead of being an independent country. The nation as a whole voted in favour of joining the Common Market as it was claimed that trading with other member states would improve the economy and quality of life for the nation. The United Kingdom had to fall in line with decimalisation of the monetary system and eventually kilograms instead of pounds in weight. The country on the whole adapted to the system quite quickly and trade with the other member states proved economically beneficial as time went by. Unfortunately due to the fall of the Berlin wall and the demise of communism, more and more of the eastern block countries joined and the Common Market was superseded by the European Union. One of the constitutions of the European Union is that the nationals from one member country can migrate to another with no visa restrictions, and claim all the assistance available in the country of their choice as their legal right. In principle it was not such a bad idea, however in practise it has only served to undermine the integrity of a once thriving nation as in the case of the United Kingdom. If we take time to look around Europe as a whole we find high unemployment, low wages, poor standards of living and in most member countries no social security to claim if you don't work or you are ill. Basically you work or steal to survive in these member countries or move to the only member who has a social security system, the United Kingdom. In the last year over 1,000,000 migrant workers have entered the United Kingdom from members such as Poland, Czech, Slovakia,
