This universe is a big place but if you learn to listen to the silent messages that come when you are totally alone and calm, you will be amazed. You must learn to meditate first and foremost no matter what walk of life you are from; your race, creed, religion, culture etc. does not matter. The quite times are when you are being counseled by your higher self, the insights, ideas and inspirations will always come through when you are living in the current minute and meditation is one of the best ways to live in the now.
When you are stressed out or worrying about your job or school or significant other or even if you are wishing or obsessing about your future you are not living in the now or being part of all the wonderful things that are going on around you. When you do not live in the now and instead day dream and constantly obsess about what you want to have or do not have you are being counter productive to the point that you can discolor your inner peace which in turn your inner picture is becomes fuzzy, clouded or even depressed then with out delay your outer reflection catches right up.
The Law of Attraction is active and in-effect for every person at all times, it is a natural law and acts perfectly and succinctly. All people on this planet came from the source, creator, universal mind, god or goddess whatever title fits your vocabulary preference and so are connected to each other the source and all of the cosmic or natural laws of the universe.
Learning to meditate is an art that is easy to learn, however most people need guidance or a meditation class to truly reach an altered state of conscience, once you achieve an altered state your mind and body remember the process and you then can handle achieving the state on your own.
When you are in a meditative or altered state of conscience you raise your vibration levels which make you more receptive to contact with the source, universe/heavens. In addition it keeps you in the now moment. It cannot be stressed enough of the importance of living in the now, it is imperative that we strive always to do so.
Meditation not only keeps your inner peace it reduces stress on every level including physical so no part of you builds residue. A build up of this nature will wreck havoc on your body causing illness possibly even life threatening disease, all of which turns your inner picture against you. There is an ancient phrase that states "as with-in so with out", I am sure you have heard it. Those are words to live
