Orly Bonder

The best product I have found at my local Sally Beauty Supply store is Orly's Nail Bonder. Have you ever noticed when you go to a nail salon and they put a beautiful, dark polish on your nails, the manicure only lasts about four days before you see chips at the nail's edge? Sometimes you don't even get that many days before the polish starts to chip. Sally Beauty Supply has been carrying Orly nail products for many years in their stores. Orly manufactures nail treatments and thousands of nail polish colors. I learned about this particular nail product while I was a nail technician apprentice in a local nail salon in my hometown. There are so many professional and more expensive products on the market. The salon owner could have easily used, then retailed more expensive products for sale. Instead, she decided to use Orly's Bonder base coat for all natural, nail manicures. I was skeptical myself but as I was using this product regularly, some of my customers wouldn't return for manicures for two to three weeks. Their manicures really held up with no chips for much longer than having used other professional, base coats.

Apply Bonder to clean, dry, natural nails, then run the brush under the nail tips as well. Bonder has the best nail polish adhesion I have ever seen. It is not tacky to the touch and dries onto the nail almost immediately. After using Bonder, apply nail polish to the Bonder layer. The polish goes on smoothly and you don't need to apply as many coats of polish for full coverage. For French manicures, the white tips really chip quickly, but not if you use Bonder underneath the white polish. I have since used many other base coats that are on the market for nail polish adhesion. Some base coats cost up to three times more than Orly Bonder. I have tried other brands at times, but prefer using the Orly brand. I have yet to find a product that goes on as fast, adheres to the nail, and keeps your manicure lasting as long as two weeks with no chips. When you take your polish off, there is no gummy residue left on the nail which can happen with other base coats. It's a truly amazing product in my opinion. My customers love the product and use it themselves at home. The manager at my local Sally Beauty Supply store has a hard time keeping the Orly Bonder in stock.
