My local CVS is a great neighborhood pharmacy that meets all my needs. Its open 24 hours a day seven days a week and with in walking distance from my home.

PHARMACY

Like most CVS stores they have a drive thru pharmacy which usually has a long line as does the line inside the store. I avoid waiting in line by calling in my prescription refills and I can choose what time I want to pick them up as long as it's at least 12 hours after I order them. My prescriptions are always ready when I arrive even if it's a little before the pick up time.

Although they do not offer the $4 prescriptions like Wal-Mart and Target pharmacies do I find the prices to be slightly lower than other drug stores I have used in the past. The convenient location, friendly knowledgeable pharmacists and staff is worth the few extra dollars.

ODDS & ENDS

CVS is so much more than a drug store I can even purchase some clothing items such as; T-shirts, sweatshirts, pajama bottoms and light jackets. Sure they are not brand name but for the price they serve their purpose just fine.

They have an entire wall dedicated to frozen foods everything from ice cream to frozen Stuffer's meals. The refrigerator section carries milk, juice, eggs, margarine, water, soda and alcoholic beverages. I can also pick up numerous other food items usually on sale. The flyer comes out every Wednesday and there is rarely a week that they do not have an item I use weekly on sale.

As wells as the dollar days bins filled with everyday household, personal and small toy items. I also enjoy the clearance table I just have to remember to check the expiration date on the vitamins and food items!

My CVS also has a large selection of DVD's for $5 each granted they are not new releases but they are not from the 70's either. I can usually find a movie a week to purchase as they get new shipments in every month.

PHOTO DEPARTMENT

I love the photo depart I can bring in a CD or my camera disk and print my pictures for 19 cents each. I can also edit and fix red eye and center photos and add backgrounds, borders and text to my 4X6 photos.

For enlargements I can also edit and add several special feature to my photo's for a great price of $6.99 (a popular sale is buy one get one free) I can choose from two 5X7 prints, and 8X10, 10X17 and even 12 wallet size prints for the same price.
EXTRA CARE CARD

This card is free and requires minimal information to obtain every time you shop at CVS simply present your card and the cashier will scan it. It allows you
