There is a loving mother
That I am honored just to know.
A beautiful young woman
With four children all in tow.
She cooks for all of them
And cleans and folds their clothes.
Just ask her faithful fianc
You can bet he surly knows!
She is a home school mom
Plus taking classes for herself.
Putting selfish wants and needs
At the back of a high shelf.
He asked her
"Will you marry me?"
Just last Christmas
And on bended knee.
He knows he has a
Lifelong friend
Compadres, partners
Until the end.
Sometimes they go through struggles,
It is a part of life.
The way she stands beside him
Is why he wants her for his wife.
I am thankful for the lessons
That a hard life may have taught her
For I know I'll always have the friendship
Of my loving Daughter.
