wyway and at a pace that suited me. I could stop theDVD atany time to take a breather if I desired - I was in control and that makes you feel powerful and comfortable since there is absolutely no pressure.
Obviously this particular workout will not suit everyone`s needs. But, for the small expense of a DVD (about 12 pounds, I think), it`s worth it`s weight in gold. I do the workout now, only a couple of times each week at 30 minutes each session and I find that keeps things sensible. It`s agreatstress releiver, too (something we all need) since you get to imagine your bosses face when you are doingthoseupper-cuts and jabs(works for me, anyway).
And do not be daunted by the nature of this workout. It IS suitable for all ages; simply take it at your own pace; be in control, and you WILL benefit. All of Billy`s Tae-Bo workouts contain a sample section, whereby his trainers take you through each and every move slowly, so you may master the techniques and avoid injury (particularly if you`re not used to this type of thing). The workouts always begin with a full warm up and end with the appropriate cool down phase.
Exercising at home is fantastic. It ticks all my boxes and is preferable to joining groups and/ or gymnasiums. And if you`re a sociable creature by habit and hate the thought of exercising alone...why not invite a couple of mates around to join you? It`s got to be better than ordering pizzas, then settling down to watch some naff Romantic Comedy for the night, chatting about nothing in particular (you could always do that, anyway, after the workout safe in the knowledge that your previous exercise will help swallow-up those calories lurking behind enemy lines/ your waist).
So, do yourself a favour (as I did)- get exercising in the comfort of your own home. It`ll be the best 12 quid you ever spent.
