How to improve your sex life

The director and the movie star - a couple can explore exciting fantasies together to enhance their bedroom trysts.

* Outside the bedroom - Sexual contact in other areas of your home (provided the kids are spending the night elsewhere) can be very erotic. Explore possibilities on the couch, in the kitchen, in your shower together. When couples begin to think outside the box, sex can become a wonderful adventure! Arrange a date night that ends at a hotel. Show your partner your adventurous side and dare to be kinky somewhere other than the bedroom.

As long as a couple is mindful of each other's feelings and personal preferences, married sex life can be racy, fun and exciting. Partners who have made a life-long commitment to each other can invest the time needed to truly understand their desires.

Just as important as exploring alternate opportunities to spice up sex with your spouse, it is necessary to keep a healthy lifestyle. A couple can fully enjoy an exciting sex life if they are feeling fit. Ditch the bad habits: smoking, excessive drinking, unhealthy foods - the benefits of being able to keep up with your new-found libido will help you to adopt a better diet and exercise plan.

Studies show people who smoke have decrease in energy and stamina, two things needed for a spicy sex life. Excessive alcohol use also decreases desire and performance. A little wine goes a long way - too much can be counterproductive in the bedroom.

A simple exercise program - such as walking 30 minutes every other day - can increase stamina, blood flow and respiratory performance. Sex is always more fulfilling when each partner is able to physically keep up with each other's needs and desires. Vigorous sex does not have to be a thing of youth. With an active lifestyle, married couples can easily recapture the steamy "glory days," of newly wedded bliss.

Overall, the best way to improve your sex life starts with an intimate and loving discussion with your partner, exploring exciting avenues now available to the general public and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
