Why military intervention in Darfur, Sudan would be a more noble cause than the Iraq War

the Olympics in Beijing China, because they supply guns to African soldiers.

American politics have concerned itself with more important matters that benefit the country. Africa has not been, and never was its priority since slavery was abolished.

During the genocide in Rowanda, the UN refused to term the mass killings as such, for to do so meant there would have to be military invasion. Instead the powers that be heckled back and forth over the meaning of genocide, and how many millions had to die for it to be declared. Citizens from America and Europe were whisked out of Rowanda by their embassies, while the African soldiers slaughtered over a million men, women, and children because they were of a different tribe.

Osama Bin Laden has air craft used as bombs on American soil, and sits back in a cave with a throw rug, somewhere between Afghanistan and Pakistan, while Bush sends the military off to free Iraq and the rest of the world from weapons that don't exist.

In terms of human sufferings, Germany and Africa rank the highest. We learned of this with the Holocaust, and now Africa's sad plight blares us in the face again and again, and has since the days of TARZAN movies. It would be so NOBLE if someone were to help this nation, so rich with flora, animals, diamonds, oil, emeralds, and people. Truth be told, no modern nation has ever looked back to see how to free Africa from itself. The question lingers in the shadows of the minds of the power nations, "WHY NOT?"
