How God is worthy of worship

God is the creator of our souls, and spirits, and through that alone God is worthy of worship. I do not believe in the traditional since of God, as I do not worship through any religion, instead I worship God through my every day works.

I believe in my heart of hearts that God is just like any parent, and wants his children to stop hurting each other, and start making choices that honor all that he has taught us that is good.

Honoring God, our creator, I would think would be far more important to God than any praise we heap upon him.

I, as a parent do not want my children to worship me. I personally, just wish that my children would honor all of the sacrifice, and labor that I put into teaching them to be good people. They can easily do this by making choices to do the right thing, even if it is the hard thing to do.

I believe that God loves us the same way as any parent loves their own child, and though he some times has to let go, and put his faith in us, I am sure he is as hopeful as any parent, and just as filled with dread.

If our children choose the wrong thing then we know they will suffer in many cases severe consequences, and God knows this is the case for us.

It is not as hard as some would like you to believe to put yourself in God's shoes.

If your a parent that cares for your children, you stand in God's shoes every day of their lives.

I don't believe that God wants to be worshiped, just respected and honored.

God talks to each and everyone of us, it is up to us to listen to what God has to say.

Just like it is every child's choice as to whether they should listen to their parents or not.

If you can't obey your parents, you can't obey God either, for God is the ultimate parent if you ask me.

For those that feel the need to worship God, I am certain that God is grateful for the attention, but I think God would prefer to be respected and honored as our heavenly father, rather than have you on your knees begging for forgiveness.

Remember almost all religions teach that God wants people to treat each other equally, and that can never happen until we add God into the factor.

I love my heavenly father, and I am not always an obedient child, but there is not a day that goes by that I do not talk to God, or use the knowledge that he so lovingly bestows upon me.

That is how I worship God, and why I believe that God is worthy of worship.

I just don't do it through offerings of money that can feed my children, wasted time in a church listening to someone preach to me the same things I have been taught since childhood, when I could be at home teaching my children that a family is more important than social functions twice a week in my community.

There is a place and a time for social functions, and I mean no disrespect to any religion, but in today's over burdened society, I barely have enough time to raise my children, much less chase after a minister in need of the money I need to feed and cloth my children with.

Jesus was infuriated in the temple market place because people had to pay a tiding to receive prayers, or lessons of spiritual knowledge.

I think Jesus would feel the same today in just about any church he entered, because all ask for tidings, and for the community to support those that claim to be spiritually righteous above all others.

My heart says don't worship God, although my mind argues with all the Christian beliefs I have been taught. Instead my heart says live each day using the knowledge God blessed me with to know the difference between right and wrong, and God will feel honored, loved, and respected.

And, that is all the worship God seems to want from me.
