SHOPPING

At the small town of Silverthorne, Colorado a beautiful experience can be had. There's a mall here too! Thirty minutes away from Vail, and ten minutes from Keystone, with over 60 stores you're bound to find something for every member of the family. Bring food, because there's only a fudge shop. Keystone has plenty of shopping experience to be had also with top designers, to artsy finds.

FLY-FISHING

My husband loves to fish, and in Keystone Colorado, there's plenty of time to fit in some fly- fishing. Standing in the water and casting his line, he's a natural, catching some rainbow trout. An experienced guide knows where all the good spots are, so book early.

GOLDMINE TOUR

Eureka, there's gold in those hills! Just a short jaunt from Keystone is Summit County and the chance of a lifetime. Take a tour of the mine; experience what it was like to be a miner 100 years ago. Pan for gold In Eureka Creek. You're bound to find some gold, almost everyone does. Just don't spend it all in one place.

FESTIVALS

Festivals happen all summer long in Keystone Colorado. From June until September, there's a festival that is happening just with you in mind. Festivals and street fairs happen nearly every weekend in Keystone. In June, the World Music Festival takes place with Caribbean Culture taking Keystone by storm. The Taste of Keystone Food Festival sounds like a foodies' paradise.

Everybody celebrates July 4, with major activities and events, and a thrilling fireworks display. River Run Village hosts family oriented events with kids' train rides, bounce houses, a petting zoo, performers, and balloon artists, that take place all summer.

In August a Bluegrass Festival and Art Show happens when 25 of Colorado's microbreweries showcase their unique blends. The Xterra Mountain Championship of pro and amateur bike races takes place, including display vehicles, and activity booths.

NIGHTLIFE

Don't let the day end when the sun goes down! With all the restaurants, taverns and saloons one can have a great time at night in Keystone also. They have live music, dancing, and fun, fun, fun into the wee hours of the night, if you're not too tired form all the day's activities, that is.

WAGON RIDES

Looking for a little slower pace? Try a wagon ride, or go horseback riding, through Snake River Valley. It will most certainly evoke feelings of the Western Frontier eating a ranch style dinner outside under a clear blue sky, served by real cowboys. And there are pony rides for the kids.

There's a world of fun waiting to be found at Keystone, Colorado. With the multitude of activities such as hiking, biking, fishing, golfing, white water rafting, and the many different festivals, it will hard to fit it all in. With the cool, dry, sunny climate, and clear sparkling nights, everything is here waiting for one thing, you.
