I love my husband but we are so very different sometimes. And I must admit, sometimes, I mess with my husband just because I can but here's a top ten based on my husbands biggest complaints with me.
1) The more you (woman) complain about something the more I am going to do it anyways. You have now made it a power struggle and I am not going to let you have control over me.
2) Do not touch the remote. ever. The television is my domain. I am king of couch potato land.
3) Do not tell people about our relationship or our sex life. I don't think that's anyone's buisness. It's time to grow up and stop with the whispers and secrets.
4) If you don't mean it, don't say it because I am stubborn and for the next couple of weeks I am going to hold that over your head...if I can remember to.
5) You are not my mother. Do not tell me what to do. We can compromise but you will not be the sole decision maker.
6) Don't ask me what I want for dinner, just cook it. I like to eat. I am going to eat. Don't make the decision about dinner seem like a presidential election. And cook often. I told you, I like to eat.
7) You are not that helpless and I know it, some things, yeah, they are man's work but jars aren't that hard to open, they sale the rubber grips to open them about anywhere. Quit acting so needy.
8) Cuddle Cuddle Cuddle Get a teddy bear or a doll or something we don't have to feed, and won't take up my side of the bed. I don't want to be on you every minute, that doesn't mean I don't love you I just don't like being hot and sweaty and having your elbow lodged in my back (although I am almost to the point that I can't sleep without it.)
9) Quit dragging stuff in. I like things simple and everywhere I turn you have something else. We don't need a hundered pounds of candles or catalogs from 3 years ago. Throw some stuff out or have a yard sale. And stop dragging in animals. I love the ones we have but we can barely afford things as it is.
10) Hang out with my mother. I love my mother. she is the greatest woman in the world in my eyes and nothing would make me happier than the two of you spending time together. and I don't have to be there for that to happen.
