How God is worthy of worship

If you are a non-believer in God and his Holy word. Then perhaps, you may not know how God is worthy of praise and worship or why. However, for the answer to these questions. You need look no further than the book of Psalms. Praise is a form of worship. King David was very thorough in his instructions. He defines the "HOW." He also explains, the five "W's." The who, what, when, where and why." Giving all the answers to worship and praise.

Psalms 100 is a prime example. I offer it up as one very, valid explanation.

A Psalm of praise written by: King David
1)Make a joyful noise unto the Lord all ye lands.
2)Serve the Lord with gladness, come before his presence with singing.
3)Know ye that the Lord he is God. It is he that hath made us and not we ourselves. We are his people and the sheep of his pasture.
4)Enter into his gates with thanksgiving and into his courts with praise, be thankful unto him and bless his name.
5)For the Lord is good and his mercy is everlasting, and his truth endureth to all generations.

God is worthy of all praise. He sacrificed his only son. He sent him to be crucified, mocked and scorned. Our Saviour hung upon a tree. He shed his blood on Calvary. Redeeming blood for you and me. He died and rose again. So we the sinners, could all go free.

Amazing love... How can it be, that you "My King" should die for me? I'm forgiven, because you were forsaken. I'm accepted, you were condemned. I'm alive and well. Your spirit lives within me, because you died and rose again. Jesus, you are my king. It is my joy to honor you. In all I do, let me honor you.

These are the words to one of my favorite songs of praise. If there is one thing, we as Christians fail to do. It is in failing to offer daily worship and praise, to God the father. The divine creator, of all living things. The book of Romans teaches, it is our reasonable service. God created man in his own likeness and in his own image. He breathed the vital breath of life into him and gave him a living soul. Every good and perfect gift, comes from the father of lights. He hung the sun, moon and stars. Called them all by their names.

He holds the vastness of the seas. The storm and the winds obey his command. He is El Shaddai. Our Almighty God. In him alone, we find faithfulness, favor, glory and grace. He is our constant friend and guide. He is our sovereign, self existent Saviour. God is love exemplified. He is holy, infinite, immutable and incomprehensible. He is the preserver of our soul. Our God is righteous and long-suffering. He is unchangeable and unsearchable. He speaks with voice of spirit and truth. He is our impartial and final judge.

God is both mysterious and misinterpreted. The alpha and omega. The beginning and the end. In him, we find both comfort and consolation. God is our refuge. We are sheltered from the storms. Safely hidden within the secret pavilion, of his ever loving arms. The angels adore him. Heaven is his throne. The earth is his footstool. He is a consuming fire. The demons recognize him and fear him. He alone is worthy of our worship and our praise. The deity. The Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. The three are one. Jesus said, "I am the way. The truth and the light. No man cometh to the father except by me." Seek him. Worship him. Find him today. Before it's too late.
