When you head to Keystone, you're going to have to eat. Unless of course you plan on eating in your hotel room, or rented home this means that you'll need to actually go out and experience everything the village has to offer. Lucky for you, Keystone has a lot.
Looking for something with a little more character that you're accustomed to? Try taking a gondola ride up the mountain to Der Fondue Chessel for some unbelievable fondue. This isn't your mom's fondue from the seventies, but smoky and filling with lots of diappables. Der Fondue Chessel is bound to give you memories you can carry with you for life.
You can also head over to the Keystone Culinary Institute. If Rachel Ray has taught us anything, its that there are great deals to be found by sampling student chefs. You can see exactly what it takes to be the next master chef, and even see if the next Emeril is somewhere in their ranks.
If laid back is more your style, then try the Edgewater Caf. This small sit down restaurant has tables for those that like to relax, and also offer up to go orders. They have sandwiches, salads, and soups if you need something to warm you up. Parrot Eyes is the place to go after a long day on the slopes. Here you'll find $3 Coors and Coors Light all day long, something you probably won't find in your bars back home. Plus they offer great Mexican food and their signature Parrot Eyes margarita. Just don't drink too many or you'll need a seeing eye margarita to find your way back.
You might want to find something a little more classy or upscale on your visit to Keystone. In that case try the Keystone Ranch. The Keystone Ranch is located near the Keystone Ranch Golf Course, and as awarded AAA Four Diamond for excellence. For something even more out of this world, try the Alpenglow Stube. This AAA Four Diamond restaurant is something that you will never experience back home. Located at the top of the North Peak, its only accessible by a gondola ride. Just remember to bring your camera to snap a few shots on the way up.
From pizza and beer to caviar and champagne, Keystone has it all.
