Article marketing: A virtual handshake 24/7

All of your potential success on the Internet depends solely on traffic. Without traffic, you cannot make sales, get advertising revenue, or get your opinion heard, it is that simple. There are many ways to get Internet traffic. Some of these options cost money, others cost you a lot of time. However, if you do not have the money to pay a company to do your marketing for you, and thus, you are unable to pay for traffic, there are less costly ways to marketing your website or your product or both.

Article marketing is one of those methods. Article marketing involves writing short (300 to 500 words), concise articles that are then submitted to various article submission websites so that you can obtain links to your website, traffic to your website, and (if the article submission website participates in an advertisement revenue sharing plan, whether it is Google Adsense, AdBrite, or some other advertising engine) advertising revenue earned through clicks and page impressions.

The best part about article marketing is that it is free. The only investment you have to make in article marketing is an investment of your time. Keep in mind that it does not take a long time to write a single article (due to the fact that each article should be at most around 500 words), but that one article is not going to create much revenue for you. One article is like a drop in the bucket that is your Internet success. If you need to fill the proverbial bucket in order to obtain monetary success from the Internet, all will agree that a single drop will not fill the bucket. However, it you put a couple of hundred drops or even a thousand drops into that bucket, before you know it, your bucket will be full. At this point, you will have obtained a noticeable Internet income. Just remember, it takes many articles and a lot of time to accomplish this.

Article marketing can be fun and will become easier once you develop a routine. Writing around five articles per day may seem difficult at first, but once you get used to it, five articles per day will become laughable. At this point, you may write ten or more articles per day. You may think that five articles per day seems small, but if you do the math, five articles per day equates to 1,825 articles per year. That is a lot of articles and a lot of potential revenue.
