Want to live the high life but cant afford the price tags? Here are a few great ideas for any Boston college student to take a date. This really will get you the points and keep the cash in you pocket.
Walk! Its free and great exercise but don't just walk around campus. One of the Best places to walk around and enjoy the history is Boston, the Freedom trail. The entire trail is about 2.5 miles thats a perfect length to get to know someone while enjoying all the amazing historical landmarks. To start the walk pick up a free map available almost anywhere in Boston and head towards The Boston Common, continue to walk by Paul Revere's house, and ending up at the Bunker Hill Monument. While on you historical stroll stop off at Faneuil Hall. This would be a great resting spot, to grab a light lunch a great cup of joe or even something to sooth that sweet tooth. This is one of the number one rated attractions in the Boston/New England area and rated a "must see". You and your wallet will thank you.
Since Ive already mentioned Faneuil Hall I was thinking that too would be a great low cost date for a college student in Boston. For such a historic, and visually stimulating place its a free place to hang out and look around. You may even come across some of the entertainers that like to keep the crowds going, like mimes or the street bands that make Faneuil Hall there stage. That make good free entertainment for you and your guest. Like I mentioned before food, drink, and desserts around the cobblestone walkways is just incredible. The food, beverage, or dessert may add an additional cost to your day but with the fantastic variety and choices you have there you wont leave unsatisfied or broke.
If you want to put a more romance into your date pack a lunch. A picnic is an easy and very inexpensive way to have a very intimate meal with someone special. Now for a student in Boston there is one place in particular I believe is the best spot to go. Picture this a beautiful warm Spring day, flowers in bloom, Swan Boats in full circle. There is no other place to be but at the Public Boston Gardens. One of the ultimate beauties in the city. This spot will have you enchanted with overwhelming beauty, and nature. You can walk around the gardens and check out all of the breathtaking fountains. take pictures read to each other and just enjoy great conversation and company. Even a trip around on the Swan Boats wont set you back more then $2.75 per adult. so enjoy the great outdoors in the middle of the great city of Boston.
