How to incorporate exercise on your next vacation

Introduction

Every year, millions of people travel the world, check out new countries, states and cultures they know nothing about. And every year, millions of people complain, most notably on new years, about how they need to exercise more, or period. One thing most people don't recognize is all of the opportunities that one can participate in that can benefit them, and is in fact, a form of exercise. Millions of travelers each year, should be informed that a large portion of the activities one can do on a vacation can benefit them physically, and that food of other cultures can be both good tasting and healthy. Here are some tips for travelers who don't want to get out of shape while they are traveling the world and having fun.

There are a couple of vacation opportunities throughout the year. You can go to locations that are mountainous and probably suited for the winter enthusiast, locations that are more tropical in feel and suited for the summer enthusiast, and the more even more aquatic based cruise option. Each of those three options has unique possibilities for fun with built-in exercise. And each of those options has overlapping activities with built-in exercise. In reality, vacation opportunities can be broken down into 5 major categories: the winter enthusiast, the mountain enthusiast, the summer enthusiast, the lowland enthusiast and cruise liner enthusiast.

What you want to do when looking for vacation ideas is find out what is being offered for activities, food, and relaxation, because those three aspects of a good vacation will determine whether the likeliness of you remaining in shape is possible, and whether or not you may even get more in shape then you currently are.

The Winter Enthusiastic Vacationer

When people think winter they generally begin to imagine a vast snow covered forested mountain, hot cocoa and sitting by the fireplace in a rustic log cabin. However, that's not the only kind of winter vacation scenario that one might take part in. Winter vacations come in many forms and offer great ways to have fun with built-in exercise, and offer great food and cultural benefits.

Winter allows many opportunities for fun activities, and exercising. Cross country skiing, snow shoeing, snowboarding or downhill skiing, skating, ice hockey, even a good old fashioned snowball fight or capture the flag, winter style. Most mountain resorts offer a good number of these activities, and a couple of them don't require them to be offered but can, instead, be
