Whether you are traveling on business or for vacation, there is always something that is bound to go wrong and add stress to your travel. Before giving in to the stress and allowing your mind set to begin to slip into the black hole, try a different approach. Travel is so very often unpredictable in the state of the world today. Adapting and being flexible in your plans is the easiest way to avoid the stress set up. Putting the obstacles into perspective, realizing before they happen, they are bound to happen, reduces the anxiety. Expecting the unexpected can be perceived as part of the adventure.
The magic of any trip is not in the destination you reach, but in the journey that you take to get there. It is easy to become over whelmed at the new sights, sounds, and tastes that you can experience. Unfortunately, many times the stress that is allowed in removes the ability to enjoy the magical moments. Next time you take a trip try these simple ideas that can allow the magic to sparkle.
Remember to Renew Your Inner Energy
Whether business or holiday, people about you will drain your internal energy. A 15 minute meditation break can reinvigorate you.
Stimulate the Flow of Energy
After many hours of sitting, the flow of energy within can be blocked. Try taking your barefoot and rubbing the heel against your other bare sole until the heat builds. Repeat with the other foot. This will get the flow of energy stimulated once more.
Ginger Yourself
Many times one of the most common starts to a holiday is becoming motion sick. Drink a cup of ginger tea for three days prior to your holiday and every day while on your holiday. It will eliminate the motion sickness and inhibit onset of migraines associated with travel.
Tap Into The Sun
The internal clock can be reset by finding yourself outdoors in brilliant rays of sun as soon as you can after arriving at your destination.
Wash the Negative Energy Off
Taking a long hot shower to reset your energy centers can realign your internal core points of energy. While in the hot, steamy water, take deep breaths and exhale slowly. Concentrate on clearing your mind down to your toes slowly releasing the tensions that have built up.
These simple tools can take the stress out of travel allowing you the ability to capture the magic.
