Your wedding day is a special day that you and your guest will remember forever, but that doesn't mean that you have to go broke making those memories either. Flowers are the typical boring centerpiece, but If you are trying to look for some ideas that are non floral for your centerpices there are many ideas out there. I have been to many weddings and if you are looking for some unique non-floral centerpiece ideas for your big day here are some suggestions. All you need to do is open up your imagination and create a centerpiece for your wedding recption tables that refelcts your personality.
Luminary Bags with tea light candles inside, they are three dozen bags for under ten dollars at any craft or wedding store. If you wanted to add a little color to the table you could sprinkle some matching colored confetti around the luminary bags.
Three tiered matching candles is a classic idea. You could even wrap matching ribbons around the candles. Placing the candles on a glass or silver platter makes it stand out even more.
A chocolate fondue fountain could be a new and fun idea, I never heard a person say they didn't like chocolate. You could purchase little silver buckets or fancy little boxes to put pound cake, large marshmallowsetc in to use in the chocolate fountain.
Gift bag with balloons attached, this is so simple and inexpensive, just put small sand bags from the party store inside the gift bags so that they won't fly away.
Fish bowl type vases filled with colored marbles.
If you are having a princess themed wedding you can place a glass slipper on a glass or silver platter and sprinkle color themed confetti around the glass slipper.
Sign up for local arrangement classes at craft and fabric stores in your area. These classes are sometimes free or low cost. Sometimes a walk through the craft or wedding specialty store can spark up tons of ideas. Just make sure that the centerpieces reflect your personality from shocking to simple and elegant, anything is possible and it doesn't cost that much money to make it happen. Good luck on your special day.
