What are the top 10 foods that you like?

to the fridge to cut off a huge chunk of cheese and would bite off chunks like a mouse. I guess there are some things you never grow out of!

The remainder of my favourite foods are in no particular order and are as follows:

Asparagus- cooked so that it is bright green and crisp. It doesn't need to be covered in any sauce or gravy; in fact, it is better alone so you can taste the goodness. I hadn't tried asparagus until about three years ago and now it is a staple in my diet. I love that it's so easy to cook and so versatileoh and so tasty!

Nectarines- unfortunately these are a seasonal fruit and I don't get to eat them all year round. Another disadvantage of loving this fruit is that they are one of the most difficult fruits to catch at the right moment, when they are perfectly ripe. A nectarine can sit in the fruit bowl for a week and not soften and ripen one smidgen in that week, yet within five minutes, it can go from hard and inedible to too soft and bruised! Can anyone explain that to me? When you do catch a nectarine at the perfect time, when it is at its best? Soft, pulpy, sweet and juicy. Perfect!

Seafood- I love trying different seafood when I travel. There's nothing better than knowing the crab or fish you are about to eat was caught only hours before, from the sea that you can see through the window. Crab is one of my favourites, even though it is one of the more difficult to eat. Cracking the shell, pulling the crabmeat through the hole, dipping into the perfect accompaniment of butter and oildelicious!

Fritos jalapeno cheese dip- Now this is one of only two processed foods on my list. I know it's full of additives and isn't real cheese but it's too lovely to forget about and am praying that I will find it somewhere in Britain one day (as of yet I have only seen it available in the US). This dip has the right amount of kick to it and doesn't have that joking cheese after taste that so many cheese dips have. It's the perfect snack food when attached to Nacho Cheese Doritos.

Krispy Kreme glazed doughnuts- the other processed food that I crave all year long until I visit the US on holidays. There is no other doughnut that comes close to being as wonderful as a Krispy Kreme glazed- and I assure you, I have searched! These ring doughnuts are soft and doughy (hence the name!), the lightest and the fluffiest in the doughnut world and totally more-ish.

Cauliflower cheese- I love cauliflower cheese and will gladly eat a ready meal version of it because it is easier
