How to study the Bible can be answered in different ways. And it can be answered by, how deep you want to study. I would tell the beginners that what they need is a good King James Version, and a Beacon Bible Commentary. Also study Bibles are helpful. I would say that when you read your Bible don't just start from the first book and read through, but read in a different book every day of the week. By reading your Bible that way you are not bored easily. Now for the intermediate people, I would recommend that besides using your Bible and Commentary, that you would use a Bible dictionary, and a Greek and Hebrew Lexicon. By using these tools you get a deeper meaning of the Bible. For the advanced, I would say to use besides your Bible, Commentary, Dictionary, and Lexicon a Jewish Bible, in original language, or in English. This will help you get a view of the Bible as close to it's original form as you can get. Well let me get back to the beginners like me, who just read the Bible and not all the extras. I believe it is very helpful to read the Bible through one time a year, because you get something new every year. God made it that way, so that we would not lose interest in the Bible. Studying in groups, cultures, and family's is so very important to our society. The Church that I go to has a Spanish Bible Study on Thursday night, which is so helpful for the Spanish people. Going to Church is another way to study the Bible, by taking notes of what the pastor says. Their are so many ways to study the Bible, to give a few- Using The Reese Chronological Bible, The Archaeological Study Bible, The King James Study Bible, and The Thomson-Chain Study Bible. Good devotionals is very helpful in, giving you new insight, and a thought for the day. I will end with these verses from the Bible. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. 2Timothy 3:16-17. (King James Version) (Cambridge University Press: page. 281)
