Looking for easy and natural snacks that you can take with you anywhere, but also have immune boosting abilities? There are literally hundreds of these snacks that are healthy for you, but also fill you up at the same time. Experts say that by simply eating 5-6 smaller meals a day as opposed to 3 larger meals can help you lose a significant amount of weight. All you need to do is find the right snacks.

One good option that is filling, and also healthy is a quick snack wrap. Try using a whole wheat pita pocket, available in the bakery section at most grocery stores, and fill it full of different vegetables. Some good options are tomatoes, spinach, onions, or sprouts. For those meat lovers out there, try adding a few small slices of lean turkey or ham to the mixture. You can also add a slice of skim milk cheese, or a tablespoon of light Italian dressing if things are a little too dry.

Another quick snack that you can take on the go is a handful of nuts. Several of the leading manufacturers now make snack size portions. If you can't find those, simply pour out a larger bag of nuts into individual size Ziploc baggies. Then you can leave the bags in your car, stick a few in your purse, or add them into the diaper bag.

Pomegranates are one of the best foods for you because of its immune boosting capabilities. Pomegranate juice is a good choice because you can take a small bottle with you, or use a blend of it and another fruit such as cranberry. You can also make your own pomegranate seeds, or buy them already made. This is a quick snack that you can take anywhere.

Another immune boosting snack that is easy to make is trail mix. The next time you're at the store, grab a box of your favorite natural cereal, a bag of granola, some nuts, and dried fruit. To make it a little sweeter, you can add a few teaspoons of sugar to the mix, or a handful of chocolate candies. In a big bowl, mix together all of your ingredients, and portion them out into small bags. You can take these anywhere you go, or even leave a few bags in the car for a quick snack later. Try using dried cranberries, apples, bananas, pineapple, or even blueberries for a hint of sweetness.

These quick snacks are easy to take with you, and full of immune boosting antioxidants.
