Spicy Valentines Day Surprise....

I was determined after 20 some years of marriage to add some romance and spice
to our marriage. I had heard successful stories, and even seen cute romance
movies about such plans that worked wonders. I felt hopeful and filled with
excitement and glee.

I am sure that you have also heard stories of other women trying to spice up

their marriage with this very same idea, I knew my idea was not original
nevertheless I was full of hope and excitement at the prospects.

I went to the store and purchased some "Hot Pink" "Saran Wrap" all excited
and almost giddy about making all of these romantic preparations.

I cleaned and decorated the whole house with flowers and candle light, made
an awesome dinner,Fixed my hair all down and sexy, made up my face with just
the right amount of make up, and perfume.

I waited for the right time and began wrapping myself decoratively with that
"Hot Pink" "Saran Wrap" that was an adventure all by itself! finally after
much to-do, I got it all on and beautifully arranged just right, and waited
until I could hear him coming up the stairs, I posed myself just so, and
stood there all jazzed and bubbly and giggling a bit, especially when I heard
his keys in the door.

But I think that I got the bigger surprise, when he opened the door, he was
not alone! Have you ever tried to run in "Saran Wrap"? That is another
adventure! I ran like some kind of "Hot Pink" zombie down our little hallway
and shut myself in the bedroom and I was sitting in there horrified, and
embarrassed beyond belief!

Then I could hear my husband calling to me, "Honey, where did you go?"
and then I could hear his friend saying, "Ya, Honey where did you go?"
and they were both laughing and most likely holding their sides.

I didn't know weather to laugh or cry, as time went on it was easier to
laugh, but it sure did not get the effect that I was looking for.

Needless to say I still get embarrassed when I buy "Saran Wrap"...

With all that said I can still safely say that I am still a hopeless
romantic, and that I am always looking for romantic ideas to spice up
my marriage, maybe not as potentially dangerous as this one turned out,
if ya know what I mean.
