about all aspects of your dating life. You don't have to get into mushy details, but let them know how you feel about the person you are dating. Let them in on what your intentions are with him or her. Also, be sure to be open and honest concerning your plans and whereabouts when you go out. Parents are always concerned when their children are dating, and your honesty with them can go a long way towards easing tension, and their gaining more confidence in you.

A REASON FOR DATING
It is best, though some consider it unreasonable, to date with a view towards marriage. Originally, that is what dating was used for. Dating was never intended for purely social or sexual reasons. It was used when two people were interested in getting married, but wanted to get to know each other a bit better before they did. Not too terribly long ago, two people who were dating, or "courting", were more or less engaged. That certainly is not the case today, however, dating people who display the qualities you would like to see in a future husband or wife, would be most beneficial.

Dating is difficult, whether you are a teenager or a young adult, or even an older adult. However the issues and experiences you face in your dating life will leave an impression on you forever. So, enjoy yourself. Enjoy falling in love, but beware and use caution as you do.
