What is the real truth about global warming? Well it might exist, but there are a lot of things that speak against it.
Firstly, I commend Al Gore for creating such a heartrending film. Even I began to believe in global warming. However, he has a lot of inaccuracies:
He states that there have been both record floods and record droughts in the last few years- both direct causes of global warming. He calls it a trend. Maybe it is, but then it shouldn't be called global warming; maybe Global Extreme Weather Trend. Anyway, there is always going to be some place in the world suffering from extreme weather.
He also keeps going on and on about this "Overwhelming evidence". It certainly doesn't overwhelm me. What is it but a few accounts of floods and droughts, supposed temperature rises in the past century (the 100% thermometers weren't accurate 100 years ago), and an obscure graph telling us the CO2 in the atmosphere and the temperature for the past 60000 years! He probably got the CO2 in the atmosphere from ice sheets; something I can't believe is entirely accurate and also doesn't take into account that the Antarctic is actually supposed to be melting. If it was melting, then the data would literally get washed away.
The are also nine "convenient untruths" which have been exposed from Al Gore's film, including that polar bears aren't drowning and that pacific islanders haven't had to be evacuated from their islands due to sea-levels rising.

I have some other strange facts to expose about global warming. For the first one we have to go back into to past to 1815. A volcano erupted on the island of Tambora in Indonesia. The eruption not only wiped out a local tribe, but also sent a lot of dust and other materials (including CO2) up into the atmosphere. The sun could no longer shine through so well and caused a variety of different cataclysms- all of them to do with cooling. Some of these were torrential rain in Europe during the whole summer; causing widespread famine, and snow in New England in July. This sounds like the so-called global dimming. However, after a few years, the weather went back to normal: It wasn't a permanent change.
A few years ago, all the hype in the country was about the hole in the ozone layer in Australia. The talk about this has died down, but the theory there was that we are somehow making the
