Being a thrifty shopper does not mean that we buy things that are used or second hand. It simple means that we search and wait for the most phenomenal deals on a product. We scour the internet high and low looking for the deal to beat all deals on the things that we want. There are many sites out there that where people share the deals that they have found and in return, we share what we have found. This saves us money but it also is saving time since we do not have to search so hard.

Online shopping and getting great deals is an art form that has been perfected by the modern day woman. The technology of today allows browsing through stores and getting the hot deals without leaving the comfort of our home. Even with the research time involved we save hours out of our day by shopping online. The research is more than just browsing from store to store. We search for online coupon codes to further our savings and sweeten our deals. There are a few places I visit frequently that help me in saving time and saving money.

Slickdeals.net is a forum where shoppers post the best deals that they have fond on the internet. They are focused on every store that has a web presence. Members post coupons to the stores to help sweeten the deals and make them even better. Slickdeals.net allowed me to get a Rachael Ray Rectangle Skillet with a Sammy Press for just $13.35 shipped to my door. This skillet retails at prices ranging from $60-$90 depending on the store. It was Slickdeals.net that gave me the deal to get a 7 -pound bucket of moon sand for $8.99, when Wal-Mart was selling it for $30.

A couple other great sites to visit are Currentcodes.com and Naughtyocdes.com. Although they do not list each item or deal the way Slickdeals.net does, if there is an online discount code, they will have it. By using Current Codes or Naughty Codes in conjunction with other online saving sites, you will be able to get the best deals possible.

If you want to search out a hot deal site for yourself, Dealzconnection.com has lists of online coupon code sources, hot deal forums, and price comparison sites. Dealz Connection is a one-stop shop for all of your bargain hunting needs.

Being a thrifty online shopper to save time and save money takes patience and discipline. There is a great tool that I have found to watch items that go in and out of stock online; Kohl's is a great example of a store like this. You will need to download the Firefox web browser from www.mozilla.com. Then download the add-on called check 4 change. You will have to leave the page you are checking on open, but this will automatically check for changes and alert you when there is one. You just highlight the words your checking (usually something like this product is out of stock), right click your mouse, and select check 4 change. There are different settings you can choose for how often you would like the page to be checked.

The thrifty shopper needs all the help she can get when searching for the next great deal. The tools listed above will give even the best bargain hunter a chance of finding and even better deal. Being a thrifty shopper is a gratifying experience when you know that you have snagged the best bargain around. Saving time and saving money by shopping online will let you enjoy the finer things in life when you know the next great deal is only a click away.
