Irish man is always sexy, fortunately you don't even have to close your eyes in Colin's case, he has a rough around the edges persona, which makes me just want to mother him. Next up Rob Lowe, I first loved him when we were made to watch The Outsiders' when I was at school, by the way this is my favourite film. We've seen him more recently on the West Wing' and Brothers and Sisters' and he's aged well.

Robert Downey junior had to appear on my list, he may not be traditionally handsome, or sexy, but he's had his troubles, and he is a fantastic actor, it was during his (almost) year on Ally McBeal' when he first came to my attention as a hotty. I loved Mark Wahlberg when he was with his funky bunch, and I still do today. Boogie nights' is definitely worth a look, whether its fake or not, the fact that he did a Calvin Klein ad campaign proves that Marks body itself deserves to be in the list. My last bad boy is Christian Slater, who was a late entry to my list. He first came to my attention in the early nineties, then when he did An interview with a vampire' in 2004 he became prime fodder for my bedroom wall.

Numbers 10-13: The TV guys, most have ventured off our small screens to do other things, some even made some half decent movies, but the following 4 names on my list are there purely because of their TV work. First up is McDreamy himself, Patrick Dempsey, he had barely made a mark on my radar until my Greys anatomy' addiction took hold, now I cant get enough of him. Josh Holloway and Wentworth Miller, both relatively new to the business got their big breaks when they got major parts in Lost' and Prison Break' respectively. Finally for this part, David Boreanez, The brooding Angel in both Buffy the vampire slayer' and Angel' and now Booth in Bones'.

Number 14 and 15: This is the sad part, I only have two names for this section of my list, and both deserve to be there, the similarities are scary, both we're getting their names as being great actors, both died far too young from drug overdoses, River Phoenix back in 1993 and Heath Ledger only a month ago. Both did so much in their short time on earth, and both were extremely gorgeous, extremely talented human beings.

Numbers 16-19: These are the guys who are on the list just because I like them, there's no denying that Johnny Depp is one of the most gorgeous men alive, he is also a master of his trade. An Officer and a Gentleman' and Pretty woman' are what has got Richard Gere onto my list, he was a stunner back then, and even now at 58 he is still looking mighty good, is it any wonder he used to be married to a supermodel. Bruce Willis, although not conventionally a hottie, he is one of my favourites, I love his voice, I love his persona in interviews and off screen, and there's something about a man in a white vest blowing things up. Finally for this part Justin Timberlake. Thank the lord he started making movies so I could add him. I was pleasantly surprised at Justin in Alphadog', and as the youngest man on my list I expect he will just get better and better with age.

And finally, number 20: I haven't got one. I know it's a cop out, but I just cant think of one other person that deserves to be on my list, I can think of several, but not just one, so Ben Affleck, Will Smith, Denzel Washington, Jake Gyllenhaal, Ashton Kucher, and Seann William Scott you almost made it, maybe next time.

So there you have it, whether you agree or disagree, this is the top 19 hottest actors of my lifetime. For now anyway, no doubt I'll change my mind in the next few days. I'm off now to take a cold shower!
