Communicating with negative people can bring you down far below their level of unhappiness. Sometimes impossibe to avoid negative people they have to be dealt with. It will lead to your stress level rising simply from their attitude alone. A negative attitude is contagious and it hard to pull them from the negative into your world of happiness.

The idea of being happy is elusive to the negative person. Everywhere they turn they pull the negative aspects out of their surroundings ignoring the positive possibilities everywhere. The sun that leads you outside to enjoy a day of outdoor activity leads them to a drawn out conversation about its dangers. Going swimming leads them to the possibility of drowning.

When you are in a relationship and they are not they tend to want you to join them in their misery. The idea of your boyfriend bringing you flowers to no reason makes them begin to tell you that it is a sure sign he is guilty of doing something he should not have. When you are happy it makes the negative person jealous so they try to drag you into their world of dark hurting with them.

The challenge when it comes to communicating with negative people to stay happy and keep your smile no matter how hard they work to make you lose that smile. The best way to keep the negative people in your life from affecting your happiness is to spend a limited amount of time with them. The negativity that they express can quickly cause you to become sad and negative as well.

Negative people will make negative comments; this is not a surprise. Sometimes their comments can be hurtful as they seem to see beauty in nothing. Tears can come out of nowhere and stream down you face at a careless remark they did not see as hateful. Or did they? You begin to wonder if hurting you was the intention.

The hurt they caused you to feel can easily turn to anger. Like an injured animal we retaliate out of fear at being hurt once more and start to say hateful, hurtful things in return. The more they answer us the more hateful we become. This outburst can quickly accelerate into a shouting match. That has a definite affect on our happiness.

Happiness gives a sense of peace and trying to maintain that sense of peace when communicating with negative people can drain us of much needed energy and tax our emotions to the point of shredding our nerves. Remaining calm and remembering they can only have an affect on us if we allow them to become important when communicating with negative people.

Take control of your life and promise yourself that you're going to be happy no matter what may come your way.
